MiyoMind for Linear

MiyoMind is an AI assistant that connects to Linear so you can check, create and update issues by chatting in WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or the web dashboard. Ask for your open issues, file a bug, move a ticket, or set a reminder to follow up, all without opening the Linear app.

Linear is where your team's issues, projects and cycles live, but you don't always have it open. MiyoMind connects to Linear through secure OAuth so you can manage work in plain language from the chat app you're already in. Ask what's assigned to you, create an issue from a quick thought, update status or priority, and set reminders that fire across WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord when something needs your attention.

What can you do with Linear and MiyoMind?

Once Linear is connected, MiyoMind can read and act on your issues conversationally. You talk to it the same way you'd ping a teammate, and it translates that into Linear actions or pulls the data you asked for. Common things people do:

  • See what's assigned to you, what's in progress, or what's blocking a cycle, summarised in chat.
  • Create a new issue from a one-line description, with a title, team and description filled in for you.
  • Update an existing issue: change status, set priority, reassign, or add a comment.
  • Pull the details of a specific issue by ID or by searching its title.
  • Set a one-off or recurring reminder to review a ticket, follow up on a stale issue, or check on a cycle, delivered to your chat app.
  • Combine Linear with other tools in the same conversation, for example draft a Gmail update about a shipped issue, or drop a note in Notion.

Because MiyoMind keeps long-term memory of what matters to you, it learns which team and project you usually mean, so you spend less time spelling out context on every request.

How do you connect Linear to MiyoMind?

Connecting takes under a minute and happens entirely through Linear's official OAuth screen, so MiyoMind never sees your password.

  1. Open the MiyoMind web dashboard at miyomind.com and go to the Connectors page.
  2. Find the Linear tile and click Connect.
  3. You're redirected to Linear's authorisation screen, where you sign in and review the access MiyoMind is requesting.
  4. Approve the connection. Linear hands MiyoMind a scoped access token and returns you to the dashboard.
  5. Back in any chat surface, ask something like "what Linear issues are assigned to me?" to confirm it's working.

What can you say to manage issues?

There's no command syntax to memorise. Ask in your own words and MiyoMind figures out the intent. A few examples that work well:

What's assigned to me in Linear right now?
Create a Linear issue: checkout page 500s on Safari, high priority
Move ENG-412 to In Progress and assign it to me
What's the status of the billing migration issue?
Remind me every Monday at 9am to triage new Linear bugs
Summarise the open issues in the current cycle

MiyoMind reads back what it's about to do for actions that change something, so you can confirm before it writes to Linear. Reminders you set this way fire on whichever chat app you use, and they can be one-off or recurring, so a weekly triage or a follow-up three days out both work.

Is the Linear connection private and secure?

Yes. The OAuth token MiyoMind receives from Linear is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, bound to your account, and never exposed to the AI model's sandbox. On paid plans, your assistant runs in a dedicated, isolated Docker container with a read-only root filesystem and no public internet egress, and it holds zero external API keys, those stay on MiyoMind's backend. Every message also passes through a 10-layer prompt-injection defence and output scrubbing.

MiyoMind is built on the open-source OpenClaw agent runtime, a model router called Hermes, and our own orchestration, memory, billing and safety code, using frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and Alibaba. The Linear connector is available once the operator has configured it; if you see a setup-required state on the tile, the OAuth credentials for Linear haven't been added on this instance yet.

How much does it cost?

MiyoMind is credit-based, and the Linear connection is included on every plan. Free is $0/month with 100 credits monthly and no card required, running on a shared direct-agent path. Plus is $14.99/month with 6,000 credits and your own dedicated container. Pro is $39.99/month with 18,000 credits and a dedicated container. Credits meter actual model and tool usage, and you can top up if you run low.

Free$0100No (shared direct-agent)
Plus$14.996,000Yes (1)

Top-up packs are also available: 600 credits for $3, 2,000 for $10, 5,000 for $25, and 10,000 for $50. One credit is worth roughly $0.005 of usage.

Frequently asked questions

Can MiyoMind create and update Linear issues, or only read them?

Both. You can ask MiyoMind to create new issues, change status and priority, reassign, and add comments, as well as read what's assigned to you or search for a specific ticket. For actions that change something in Linear, it confirms the details with you first.

Which chat apps can I use to manage Linear?

You can talk to MiyoMind inside WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord, or in the web dashboard at miyomind.com. The Linear connection works the same way across all of them, so you can triage issues from your phone or browser.

Is my Linear data safe with MiyoMind?

Yes. The OAuth token is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never reaches the AI model's sandbox. On paid plans your assistant runs in an isolated container with no public internet egress and zero stored API keys, and every message goes through prompt-injection defences and output scrubbing.

Do I need the Linear app open to use this?

No. The point of the integration is to manage Linear without opening the app. You ask MiyoMind in chat and it reads from or writes to Linear on your behalf, then reports back in the conversation.

Can MiyoMind remind me to follow up on Linear issues?

Yes. You can set one-off or recurring reminders, such as a weekly bug triage or a follow-up on a stale ticket, and they fire across your connected chat apps so you don't have to remember to check Linear manually.

Is the Linear connector available on the free plan?

The Linear connection is included on every plan, including Free, once the operator has configured the connector on the instance. The free tier runs on a shared direct-agent path with 100 monthly credits, while paid plans add a dedicated, isolated container.
