MiyoMind for Google Calendar

MiyoMind connects to Google Calendar over secure OAuth, so you can create events, list your schedule, find open times, and set reminders in plain language. Ask from WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web dashboard, and Miyo reads and writes your calendar without you opening another app.

Google Calendar is where your day lives, but checking it, adding events, and finding a free slot still means stopping what you're doing and tapping through a separate app. MiyoMind turns those tasks into a sentence. You tell Miyo what you need in the chat app you're already in, and it handles the calendar work, then confirms what it did.

What can MiyoMind do with Google Calendar?

Once Google Calendar is connected, MiyoMind acts as a conversational scheduling assistant. Instead of opening the app, you describe what you want and Miyo does it, then tells you exactly what changed. Core things you can do:

  • Create events from natural language — "Book a dentist appointment Thursday at 3pm for an hour" becomes a real calendar event.
  • List and summarise your schedule — "What's on my calendar tomorrow?" or "Am I free Friday afternoon?" returns a clear, readable rundown.
  • Find open times — ask Miyo to find a 45-minute gap next week, and it scans your calendar for slots that work.
  • Update or move events — shift a meeting, change its time, or adjust the title without hunting for it manually.
  • Set reminders that fire in your chat apps — MiyoMind's own reminders (one-off and recurring) ping you in WhatsApp, Telegram, or Discord, separate from calendar notifications.
  • Combine calendar with other work — pull a time from your calendar, then draft an email about it or jot a note, all in the same conversation.

Because MiyoMind remembers what matters to you across conversations, you don't have to repeat context. If you've told it your typical work hours or that you prefer mornings for deep work, it can factor that into suggestions when you ask it to find a time.

How do I connect Google Calendar to MiyoMind?

Connecting takes under a minute and uses Google's standard OAuth consent screen, so MiyoMind never sees your password. Here's the sequence:

  1. Sign in to the MiyoMind web dashboard at miyomind.com and open the Connectors page.
  2. Find the Google Calendar tile and click Connect.
  3. You're redirected to Google's official consent screen — review the calendar permissions and approve.
  4. Google sends you back to MiyoMind, and the connector flips to connected.
  5. Start asking Miyo about your schedule from any chat surface — WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the dashboard.

A connector is available once the operator has configured it. If you see a "setup required" state on the Google Calendar tile, the OAuth credentials haven't been enabled yet on that deployment — the dashboard tells you honestly rather than showing a broken button.

Example things to say

  • "What does my Wednesday look like?"
  • "Schedule a 30-minute call with the design team next Tuesday at 11am."
  • "Find me a free hour for the gym sometime this week."
  • "Move my 2pm meeting to 4pm."
  • "Remind me 15 minutes before every standup."

Is connecting my calendar safe?

Yes. MiyoMind uses OAuth, the same delegated-access standard Google built for third-party apps, so you grant scoped calendar access and can revoke it at any time from your Google account or the MiyoMind dashboard. Your access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, bound per user, and never exposed to the assistant's sandboxed workspace.

On paid plans, your assistant runs inside its own dedicated, sandboxed Docker container with no public internet egress, a read-only root filesystem, and zero stored external API keys. Every message also passes through a 10-layer prompt-injection defence and output scrubbing. The free tier runs on a shared direct-agent path instead of a dedicated container.

How much does it cost?

Calendar actions run on MiyoMind credits, which meter the actual model and tool usage behind each request. Every plan can connect Google Calendar; the difference is your monthly credit allowance and whether you get a dedicated container.

PlanPrice / moCredits / moDedicated container
Free$0100No (shared direct-agent)
Plus$14.996,000Yes (1)
Pro$39.9918,000Yes (1)

Free needs no card. If you run low, credits are also sold as top-up packs (600 for $3, 2,000 for $10, 5,000 for $25, 10,000 for $50). One credit is worth roughly $0.005 of usage, and you only spend on what you actually run.

Frequently asked questions

Can MiyoMind create Google Calendar events for me?

Yes. Once Google Calendar is connected, you can tell Miyo something like "Book a 1-hour review Friday at 10am" in any chat app and it creates the event on your calendar. It confirms the details back to you, and asks first if the time or duration is unclear.

Can it find a free time slot in my schedule?

Yes. Ask Miyo to find an open block — for example "Find me a free hour next week" — and it scans your Google Calendar for available slots and suggests times. If it knows your preferences, like preferring mornings, it factors those in.

What's the difference between calendar events and MiyoMind reminders?

Calendar events live on Google Calendar and surface through Google's notifications. MiyoMind reminders are separate: they're one-off or recurring nudges that fire directly in your chat apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Discord, so you get pinged where you already are.

Is my calendar data secure with MiyoMind?

Yes. Access is granted through Google OAuth, so you can revoke it any time, and your tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Paid plans run inside an isolated, sandboxed container with no public internet egress, and every message passes through a 10-layer prompt-injection defence.

Which apps can I use to manage my calendar with MiyoMind?

You can talk to Miyo about your calendar from WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web dashboard at miyomind.com. There's nothing extra to install for chat — you use MiyoMind inside the apps you already have open.

Does the free plan include Google Calendar?

Yes. Every plan, including the free $0 tier with 100 credits a month and no card required, can connect Google Calendar. The free tier runs on a shared direct-agent path, while Plus and Pro add a dedicated sandboxed container and a larger monthly credit allowance.
