MiyoMind for Notion

Connect Notion to MiyoMind and your AI assistant can capture notes, create and update pages, add rows to databases, and retrieve information from your workspace by chat. You authorise access once with secure OAuth, then just ask Miyo in WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web dashboard.

Notion holds your notes, docs, project trackers and wikis, but acting on it still means opening the app, finding the right page, and typing. MiyoMind closes that gap. Once you connect Notion, you can capture a thought, log a task, update a status, or pull up information from a conversation you are already in, without switching context.

What can MiyoMind do with Notion?

With Notion connected, MiyoMind works against the pages and databases you have shared with the integration. The most common things people do:

  • Capture notes and ideas straight into a page or an inbox database, including voice notes you record in chat (MiyoMind transcribes them first).
  • Create new pages from a prompt — a meeting summary, a draft, a checklist — and place them where you ask.
  • Update existing pages: append text, tick off items, change a status property, or set a due date.
  • Add and edit database rows — log a task, a CRM contact, a reading-list item, or a bug, with the right properties filled in.
  • Retrieve information: ask what is in a database, find a page, or summarise a doc so you do not have to open Notion to remember the detail.
  • Combine Notion with everything else MiyoMind does — search the live web, then save the findings to a Notion page in one request.

MiyoMind only sees the pages and databases you grant during authorisation, which keeps the assistant's reach scoped to what you intend it to touch.

How do I connect Notion to MiyoMind?

Connecting takes about a minute and uses Notion's standard OAuth flow, so you never paste an API key or password into MiyoMind.

  1. Open the MiyoMind dashboard at miyomind.com and go to the Connectors page.
  2. Find the Notion tile and click Connect. If the tile shows "setup required", the operator has not configured Notion OAuth yet — ask them to add the Notion client credentials.
  3. You are redirected to Notion. Sign in and choose exactly which pages and databases to share with the integration.
  4. Approve, and Notion sends you back to MiyoMind. The connection is now active across all your chat surfaces.
  5. Test it from any chat: send "Add a note to my inbox: try the new Notion integration" and check it lands in Notion.

Example chat commands

You talk to Miyo in normal language — there are no special syntaxes to memorise. A few examples that map cleanly to capture, update, and retrieve:

Add to my Notion tasks: "Renew domain" due Friday, status Not started
Create a Notion page called "Q3 launch plan" and outline the milestones we discussed
Update the status of "Onboarding redesign" to In progress
What's in my Reading List database? Just the unread ones
Summarise my "Standup notes" page from this week
Search the web for the latest on this and save a summary to my Research page

Because MiyoMind keeps long-term memory of what matters to you and can recall past conversations, it gets better at knowing which database you mean by "my tasks" or which page is your default inbox the more you use it.

How is this different from Notion AI?

Notion AI is excellent inside Notion — it writes, summarises and answers questions on the page you are looking at. MiyoMind is a general personal assistant that reaches into Notion from outside it. The honest distinction:

They are complementary. Many people keep using Notion AI for in-page work and add MiyoMind so they can act on Notion while they are away from their desk, mid-conversation on their phone.

What does it cost?

MiyoMind runs on a credit system rather than a per-integration fee, so connecting Notion costs nothing extra — you only spend credits when Miyo actually does work. The Free plan gives you 100 credits a month with no card required and runs on a shared direct-agent path. Plus ($14.99/mo) includes 6,000 credits and your own dedicated, sandboxed container; Pro ($39.99/mo) includes 18,000 credits and a dedicated container. Top-up packs are available if you run short. One credit is worth roughly $0.005 of model and tool usage.

Reading and writing Notion data through MiyoMind is metered by the underlying model and tool calls a request needs, so a quick note costs far less than, say, generating a long page and running a web search in the same turn.

Frequently asked questions

Can MiyoMind write to my Notion databases, or only read them?

Both. With Notion connected, MiyoMind can create pages, append to existing ones, and add or update rows in the databases you have shared, as well as read and summarise them. It only touches the pages and databases you granted during authorisation.

Do I need to install anything to use Notion with MiyoMind?

No. You connect Notion once from the MiyoMind dashboard using OAuth, then talk to Miyo inside WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web dashboard. There is nothing to install on your phone or computer for chat.

Is my Notion data safe with MiyoMind?

Yes. Your Notion OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and bound to your account. On paid plans your assistant runs in a dedicated sandboxed container with no public internet egress, and every message passes through prompt-injection defences and output scrubbing. You can revoke access from Notion at any time.

How is this different from Notion's built-in AI?

Notion AI works inside the Notion app on the page you are viewing. MiyoMind is a general assistant that reaches into Notion from WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web, and combines it with web search, email drafting, reminders and roughly 30 other connectors. Many people use both together.

Which pages and databases can MiyoMind see?

Only the ones you explicitly share with the integration during the Notion OAuth flow. MiyoMind cannot access pages you did not grant, and you can change the shared selection in Notion whenever you want.

Does connecting Notion cost extra?

No. There is no per-integration fee. Connecting Notion is free; you only spend credits when MiyoMind performs an action, metered by the actual model and tool usage. The Free plan includes 100 credits a month with no card required.
