How do you connect GitHub to MiyoMind?

Connecting takes under a minute and uses GitHub's standard OAuth flow, so MiyoMind never sees your password.

1. Sign in to the MiyoMind web dashboard at miyomind.com and open the Connectors page.
2. Find the GitHub tile and click Connect. If the tile shows "setup required", the operator hasn't configured GitHub OAuth yet on this deployment.
3. You're redirected to GitHub to authorise MiyoMind. Review the access requested and approve it.
4. GitHub sends you back to the dashboard, and the connector flips to connected.
5. Open any chat surface, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web chat, and ask Miyo about your repositories in plain English.

What can you say to Miyo?

There are no commands to memorise. You talk to MiyoMind the way you'd message a colleague. A few examples that work well once GitHub is connected:

Is connecting GitHub safe?

Yes. MiyoMind authorises GitHub through OAuth, and the resulting tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, bound to your account so they can't be reused elsewhere. You can disconnect GitHub from the Connectors page at any time, which revokes the stored credential.

On the paid tiers, every user runs in their own dedicated, sandboxed Docker container with no public internet egress, a read-only root filesystem, and dropped Linux capabilities, so your workspace is isolated from everyone else's. Every message also passes through a 10-layer prompt-injection defence and output scrubbing, which matters when an AI is reading content from issues and pull requests written by other people.

How much does it cost?

The GitHub connector is included on every plan. MiyoMind is credit-metered: credits track the actual model and tool usage behind each request, where 1 credit is worth roughly $0.005 of value.
