MiyoMind for GitHub

Connecting GitHub to MiyoMind lets you track issues and pull requests, get plain-language summaries of what changed, and set reminders to review or follow up, all from a normal chat in WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web dashboard. You authorise GitHub once via secure OAuth, then just ask Miyo in your own words.

GitHub is where the work lives, but the signal gets buried fast. Issues pile up, pull requests wait on a review you forgot about, and the notification inbox becomes noise. MiyoMind connects to your GitHub account so you can ask about it conversationally, the same way you'd ask a teammate, and get a clear answer with the context that matters.

MiyoMind is a personal AI assistant named Miyo that you talk to inside WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web dashboard at miyomind.com. Once GitHub is connected, repository activity becomes something you can query in plain language instead of a tab you have to keep refreshing.

What can you do with GitHub connected?

With GitHub linked, you can ask Miyo about the state of your repositories and turn that into action without opening the app. Common things people do:

  • Check open issues and pull requests across your repositories and ask which ones are waiting on you.
  • Get a plain-language summary of what a long PR or issue thread actually changed or decided.
  • Set a one-off or recurring reminder to review a PR, triage issues, or follow up on a stale thread, fired to whichever chat app you use.
  • Ask Miyo to draft an issue description, a PR summary, or a comment, then copy it where you need it.
  • Pull recent activity into a quick standup-style recap so you walk into a meeting already caught up.
  • Combine GitHub with your other connected tools, for example asking Miyo to draft a Gmail update or add a Google Calendar block for a review session.

How do you connect GitHub to MiyoMind?

Connecting takes under a minute and uses GitHub's standard OAuth flow, so MiyoMind never sees your password.

  1. Sign in to the MiyoMind web dashboard at miyomind.com and open the Connectors page.
  2. Find the GitHub tile and click Connect. If the tile shows "setup required", the operator hasn't configured GitHub OAuth yet on this deployment.
  3. You're redirected to GitHub to authorise MiyoMind. Review the access requested and approve it.
  4. GitHub sends you back to the dashboard, and the connector flips to connected.
  5. Open any chat surface, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web chat, and ask Miyo about your repositories in plain English.

What can you say to Miyo?

There are no commands to memorise. You talk to MiyoMind the way you'd message a colleague. A few examples that work well once GitHub is connected:

"What pull requests are open and waiting on my review?"
"Summarise the discussion on issue #214 in plain English."
"Remind me every weekday at 9am to triage new issues."
"Draft an issue for the login bug I described earlier."
"Give me a recap of what changed across my repos this week."

Reminders you set this way fire across your chat apps, so a 9am triage nudge or a "review this PR before Friday" follow-up lands wherever you already are. Reminders can be one-off or recurring.

Is connecting GitHub safe?

Yes. MiyoMind authorises GitHub through OAuth, and the resulting tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, bound to your account so they can't be reused elsewhere. You can disconnect GitHub from the Connectors page at any time, which revokes the stored credential.

On the paid tiers, every user runs in their own dedicated, sandboxed Docker container with no public internet egress, a read-only root filesystem, and dropped Linux capabilities, so your workspace is isolated from everyone else's. Every message also passes through a 10-layer prompt-injection defence and output scrubbing, which matters when an AI is reading content from issues and pull requests written by other people.

How much does it cost?

The GitHub connector is included on every plan. MiyoMind is credit-metered: credits track the actual model and tool usage behind each request, where 1 credit is worth roughly $0.005 of value.

PlanPrice / moCredits / moDedicated container
Free$0100No (shared direct-agent)
Plus$14.996,000Yes
Pro$39.9918,000Yes

The Free tier needs no card and runs on a shared direct-agent path. If you need the dedicated, fully sandboxed container, Plus and Pro provide it. You can also buy top-up credit packs (600 for $3, 2,000 for $10, 5,000 for $25, 10,000 for $50) if a busy month runs you short.

AI is already part of how most developers work. MiyoMind's angle is to meet you where you already chat rather than adding another dashboard to check, so GitHub activity reaches you in the same thread you use for everything else.

Frequently asked questions

Can MiyoMind track GitHub issues and pull requests?

Yes. Once GitHub is connected, you can ask Miyo about open issues and pull requests, which ones are waiting on you, and what a long thread actually decided. You can also set reminders to review or triage, fired to your chat apps.

Does MiyoMind merge pull requests or push code automatically?

Treat MiyoMind as a reading and drafting assistant. It can summarise activity, draft issues, comments, and PR descriptions, and remind you to act. You should review anything it generates and keep final write actions like merging under your own control.

How do I connect GitHub to MiyoMind?

Open the Connectors page in the MiyoMind dashboard at miyomind.com, click Connect on the GitHub tile, and authorise via GitHub's OAuth screen. After you approve, the connector shows as connected and you can ask Miyo about your repos from any chat surface.

Yes. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and bound to your account. Paid users run in a dedicated, sandboxed container with no public internet egress, and every message passes through a 10-layer prompt-injection defence plus output scrubbing.

You can use MiyoMind inside WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or the web dashboard at miyomind.com. The GitHub connection works the same across all of them, so reminders and summaries reach you wherever you already chat.
