How does AI memory work in MiyoMind?

MiyoMind builds a personal, durable memory of what matters to you and feeds the relevant pieces back into each new conversation, so you never start from zero. There are two complementary layers working together.

Long-term memories

These are the lasting facts and preferences MiyoMind keeps about you, your role, your goals, the way you like things done. A nightly distillation step reviews your activity and extracts the durable signal, so the memory stays useful instead of bloating with noise. The most relevant memories are injected into the assistant's context at the start of a conversation, which is why it can pick up where you left off.

Recall of past conversations

Separately, MiyoMind can search back through your earlier chats when something becomes relevant again. A rolling briefing of your recent conversations also keeps Miyo oriented on what you've been working on lately.

How do I view and manage my memories?

You manage everything from the Memories page inside your MiyoMind dashboard settings. Nothing about memory is hidden or automatic-only, you can see what the assistant knows and change it whenever you want.

1. Open the web dashboard at miyomind.com and go to Settings.
2. Select the Memories subpage to see the facts and preferences MiyoMind has saved about you.
3. Add a memory directly if there's something you want the assistant to always know.
4. Edit a memory to correct or refine it.
5. Delete any memory you no longer want stored, and it stops being used in future conversations.

You can also just tell Miyo in chat, things like "remember that I prefer concise replies" or "forget my old job title." Because memory and your dashboard settings are connected, changes you make take effect in how the assistant talks to you going forward.

Is my memory data private and secure?

Yes. MiyoMind treats your memories as sensitive personal data and protects them with several overlapping safeguards.

• Encrypted at rest: memory content is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and bound to your account, so it can't be read in bulk or attributed to the wrong user.
• Account-scoped: memories belong to you and are only ever used in your own conversations, never shared or pooled across users.
• Isolated workspaces: every paid user runs in a dedicated, sandboxed container with no public internet egress, a read-only root filesystem, and zero stored external API keys.
• Hardened against manipulation: every message passes through a 10-layer prompt-injection defence and output scrubbing, so a malicious web page or document can't trick the assistant into leaking what it knows about you.

Integrations you connect via OAuth, like Gmail or Notion, are encrypted at rest the same way. The free tier runs on a shared direct-agent path rather than a dedicated container, but your data is still account-scoped and protected.

What does memory cost?

Using memory doesn't add a separate fee, it's part of how the assistant works. MiyoMind runs on a credit system where credits meter actual model and tool usage, and storing or recalling a memory is lightweight compared to a full reasoning turn. Recalling past conversations is a database lookup, so it's especially efficient.

Credits are also available as top-up packs (600 for $3, 2,000 for $10, 5,000 for $25, 10,000 for $50), and roughly 1 credit equals $0.005 of value. The Free plan requires no card and is a fair way to test how memory changes the experience before upgrading.
