Document and PDF analysis

MiyoMind reads PDFs and documents you send and answers questions about them in plain language. Drop a file into WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or the web dashboard, ask "summarise this" or "what does clause 4 say?", and Miyo replies with a grounded answer, pulling out the specific lines, figures or terms you need.

Reading a 40-page contract, a research paper, or a dense financial report takes time you usually do not have. MiyoMind turns that into a conversation: send the document, ask what you want to know, and Miyo — the assistant — reads the file and answers grounded in what it actually says. It works the same whether you are on your phone in WhatsApp or at your desk in the web dashboard.

How does the AI PDF reader work?

You attach a file to the chat the same way you would send it to a friend, then type your question. Miyo extracts the text from the document, reads it, and answers based on what is in the file rather than guessing. Because everything happens inside the chat you already use, there is no separate app, upload portal or dashboard to learn — the document and your question live in the same thread.

  1. Attach a PDF, Word doc, spreadsheet, slide deck or text file to your MiyoMind chat on any platform.
  2. Ask a question in plain language — "summarise this in five bullets", "what are the key risks?", "pull out every date and deadline".
  3. Miyo reads the document and replies with a grounded answer that points to the specific parts of the file.
  4. Keep going — ask follow-ups, request a shorter version, or have Miyo draft an email or note based on what it read.

Document analysis pairs naturally with the rest of MiyoMind. Miyo can cross-check a claim in your PDF against a live web search with citations, save the key points to long-term memory so it remembers them in future chats, or turn its summary into a delivered file you can download. It is one assistant, so the document you sent on Monday is still something it can recall and act on later.

What can it actually do with a document?

The point is not just a summary — it is getting a specific answer to the specific question you have. Common things people ask Miyo to do with a file:

  • Summarise a long report, paper or contract into a few clear bullets or a one-paragraph TL;DR.
  • Answer targeted questions — "what is the notice period?", "which section covers data retention?", "what was Q3 revenue?".
  • Extract structured details: dates, names, dollar figures, action items, defined terms or obligations.
  • Explain dense or technical passages in plain language, or translate the gist into another tone.
  • Compare two documents you send and call out where they differ.
  • Draft something from the document — a reply email, a brief, meeting notes or a checklist.

Real examples

  • A freelancer forwards a client contract on Telegram and asks "is there anything unusual in the payment or termination terms?" before signing.
  • A student drops a research PDF into the web dashboard and asks for the methodology and main findings in three bullets.
  • A founder sends a competitor's pricing sheet and asks Miyo to compare it line-by-line against their own.
  • Someone photographs and uploads an appliance manual and asks how to reset the error code on page 12.

That is the gap document analysis closes: most of the information you need is already written down somewhere, just not in a form you can query. Asking a question is faster than skimming.

Is it safe to send documents?

MiyoMind is built with privacy as a first-class concern. Every paid user gets their own dedicated, sandboxed container with an isolated workspace, no public internet egress, a read-only root filesystem and dropped Linux capabilities — your files are processed in your own space, not a shared one. Integrations and your saved memories are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and a 10-layer prompt-injection defence plus output scrubbing runs on every message, so a malicious instruction hidden inside a document cannot quietly hijack the assistant.

How much does it cost and what are the limits?

Document analysis is part of every MiyoMind plan, including Free. There is no separate fee for reading a file — it is metered through credits, the same way every other action is. Reading and answering questions about a document spends credits based on the actual model and tool usage involved, so a short memo costs a little and a long, repeatedly-queried report costs more. Each credit is worth roughly half a cent of value.

Plus$14.996,000Yes — 1

If you run low, credits are also available as top-up packs (600 for $3, 2,000 for $10, 5,000 for $25, 10,000 for $50). Practical limits worth knowing: very large or image-heavy documents take more credits to process, and scanned files depend on the text being legible. When a question is genuinely answered by something outside the document, Miyo will tell you and can pull in a live web search rather than inventing an answer.

Tips for better answers

  • Be specific. "What are the five key risks and which page each is on?" beats "tell me about this".
  • Ask follow-ups in the same chat — Miyo keeps the document in context for the conversation.
  • For long files, ask for a summary first, then drill into the sections that matter.
  • Send clean, text-based PDFs where you can; blurry scans are harder to read accurately.
  • Have Miyo save the important takeaways to memory if you will reference them in future chats.

Frequently asked questions

Can MiyoMind read a PDF I send in WhatsApp?

Yes. Attach the PDF to your MiyoMind chat in WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or the web dashboard and ask your question. Miyo reads the file and answers based on its contents, in the same conversation.

What file types can it analyse?

MiyoMind handles common document formats including PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, slide decks and plain text files. For scanned or photographed documents, results depend on how legible the text is.

Will it just summarise, or can it answer specific questions?

Both. You can ask for a summary, or ask pointed questions like "what is the notice period?" or "what was Q3 revenue?" Miyo answers grounded in the document and points you to the relevant parts.

Is it safe to upload sensitive documents?

Paid users get a dedicated, sandboxed container with an isolated workspace and no public internet egress. Memories and integrations are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and a 10-layer prompt-injection defence runs on every message. The free tier uses a shared direct-agent path.

How much does document analysis cost?

It is included in every plan, including Free, and metered through credits based on actual model and tool usage. There is no separate fee for reading a file — longer or image-heavy documents simply use more credits.

Can it compare two documents?

Yes. Send both files and ask Miyo to compare them — for example, two contracts or two pricing sheets — and it will read each and call out where they differ.
