MiyoMind turns that into a conversation: send the document, ask what you want to know, and Miyo — the assistant — reads the file and answers grounded in what it actually says. It works the same whether you are on your phone in WhatsApp or at your desk in the web dashboard.

How does the AI PDF reader work?

You attach a file to the chat the same way you would send it to a friend, then type your question. Miyo extracts the text from the document, reads it, and answers based on what is in the file rather than guessing. Because everything happens inside the chat you already use, there is no separate app, upload portal or dashboard to learn — the document and your question live in the same thread.

1. Attach a PDF, Word doc, spreadsheet, slide deck or text file to your MiyoMind chat on any platform.
2. Ask a question in plain language — "summarise this in five bullets", "what are the key risks?", "pull out every date and deadline".
3. Miyo reads the document and replies with a grounded answer that points to the specific parts of the file.
4. Keep going — ask follow-ups, request a shorter version, or have Miyo draft an email or note based on what it read.

Document analysis pairs naturally with the rest of MiyoMind. What can it actually do with a document?

The point is not just a summary — it is getting a specific answer to the specific question you have. Common things people ask Miyo to do with a file:

• Summarise a long report, paper or contract into a few clear bullets or a one-paragraph TL;DR.
• Answer targeted questions — "what is the notice period?", "which section covers data retention?", "what was Q3 revenue?".

Is it safe to send documents?

MiyoMind is built with privacy as a first-class concern. Every paid user gets their own dedicated, sandboxed container with an isolated workspace, no public internet egress, a read-only root filesystem and dropped Linux capabilities — your files are processed in your own space, not a shared one. Integrations and your saved memories are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and a 10-layer prompt-injection defence plus output scrubbing runs on every message, so a malicious instruction hidden inside a document cannot quietly hijack the assistant.

How much does it cost and what are the limits?

Document analysis is part of every MiyoMind plan, including Free. There is no separate fee for reading a file — it is metered through credits, the same way every other action is. Reading and answering questions about a document spends credits based on the actual model and tool usage involved, so a short memo costs a little and a long, repeatedly-queried report costs more. Each credit is worth roughly half a cent of value.

If you run low, credits are also available as top-up packs (600 for $3, 2,000 for $10, 5,000 for $25, 10,000 for $50). Practical limits worth knowing: very large or image-heavy documents take more credits to process, and scanned files depend on the text being legible. When a question is genuinely answered by something outside the document, Miyo will tell you and can pull in a live web search rather than inventing an answer.

• Be specific. "What are the five key risks and which page each is on?" beats "tell me about this".
• Ask follow-ups in the same chat — Miyo keeps the document in context for the conversation.
• For long files, ask for a summary first, then drill into the sections that matter.
• Send clean, text-based PDFs where you can; blurry scans are harder to read accurately.
• Have Miyo save the important takeaways to memory if you will reference them in future chats.
